We have a Design and Research cell consisting of a panel of design consultants. Besides, in order to maintain a high level quality, stage checks are conducted according to quality assurance plan. A transformer undergoes all the routine tests during various stages of manufacture. Also, all raw materials are procured only from reputed manufactures directly and test certificate for each lot are obtained.

UPT Quality Control system for transformers is a complete system covering all administrative routines and instructions.

Steps to ensure quality control:

• Transformers designed by qualified electrical engineers as per specification provided by the client and IS 1180 / 2026, to ensure that parameters of transformers do not exceed figures provided in ISS. And customer specification.
• For any new transformer rating/specification design is developed on computer aided software.
• On receipt of confirmed order from client, materials are ordered for the complete requirement with a strict delivery schedule. It is mandatory to provide test certificates, by the suppliers.
• Each and every major operation during assembly, have been divided in sub departments, which carry out a specialized task. This brings a very high quality of consistency. (AUTOMATION ACHIEVED IN VARIOUS SECTIONS OF PRODUCTION)
• Sample checking at all stages of manufacturing is done - as detailed in our standard process control plan. Each and every transformer manufactured is tested for all routine tests provided in IS -1180 / 2026.
